Is there an easier way to setup the S2F for everyone rather than setting up the full software on each person's computer? There are only 7 computers total so I can do it this way but I have print services set up on the Server to deploy the printer to everyone and would like to avoid that solution if possible. So to save myself a repeated headache I went this route. I save the scans to each computer so that they have a local copy of the files that they can go back to if they need the files again (their request) on our old printer I originally had a share on the server for that held the scans and I can't tell you how many times I was asked "where are my scans located?" even if I put a shortcut on their desktop. When you click on the scan option on the printer the first selection is scan to file (S2F) so I wanted to make sure that's what was set up.įrom what I can tell there's no option in the web management page for the S2F only the scan to network option so I ended up downloading the full software solution and going into the ControlCenter and defining the options there.
